MEC Madoda Sambatha launches Cassper Agri-Life Vegetable Packhouse in Mogogelo Village, 20 Oct
The North West MEC for Agriculture and Rural Development, Madoda Sambatha, will on 20 October 2026 officially launch the Cassper Agri-Life Vegetable Packhouse in Mogogelo Village, Moretele Local Municipality.
The launch follows recent openings of the MOR Farming Packhouse and Lucerne Packhouse in Taung, both supported by the Department. The project is expected to boost vegetable production, improve market access for local farmers, create jobs and contribute to rural economic development in the Moretele Local Municipality.
The Department has made a substantial investment in the project, funding a fully equipped packhouse, production tunnels, borehole, backup generator and mobile cold room facilities to boost production, protect produce and unlock market opportunities for local farmers.
